Furyk, who sank a 10-footer for birdie on the 72nd hole of the Mercedes Championships at Kapalua, Hawaii, to beat Rory Sabbatini by a stroke, has won six times on Tour. Five of the victories have been in either Hawaii or Vegas....

Willis's three-under 69 on Monday—last Friday's round became the first snow-out on Tour in 14 years—gave him a one-shot win over Kevin Sutherland....

During a practice round for Tucson at the Gallery Golf Club, one of two courses used in the tournament, John Daly reached the 690-yard 9th—the longest hole on Tour—in two. He hit a 410-yard drive and a 280-yard one-iron....
