Aaron, a junior goalie at Fargo North High, established a state tournament single-game record with 73 saves in a 2-1, five-overtime title-game loss to Red River High, of Grand Forks. Aaron, who was named the event's MVP, also set a tournament mark for saves with 125 in three games.

Pete Foley, FRAMINGHAM, MASS.
Swimming
Foley, 55, the boys' coach at Weston High for the past 29 years, guided the Red Tide to its third consecutive championship, the 12th overall state title during his tenure. He has a career dual-meet record of 401-35-1, including a current winning streak of 53 meets.

Florence Ezeh, SARTROU VILLE, TOGO
Track and Field
Ezeh, a senior weight thrower at Southern Methodist, finished first at the WAC championships when she launched the 20-pound weight 72' 11�", setting an NCAA women's record. She broke the 1997 mark of Dawn Ellerbe of South Carolina by 15 inches.

Matt Dugan, ROCKAWAY, N. J.
Lacrosse
Dugan, a senior attackman at Washington and Lee, in Lexington, Va., broke the 25-year-old school points-scoring record of 234 when he had five goals and three assists against Elmira (N.Y.) College. Through Sunday he had averaged 4.6 points over his 52 college games.

Leslie Morrow, CANTON, GA.
Wrestling
Leslie, a 125-pound senior at Sequoyah High, won his third 4-A state title to become the first wrestler in Cherokee County history to win three Georgia championships. He was undefeated on the season with 42 wins, 25 by pin, and led the Chiefs to a 17-1 record.

Ben Gordon, MOUNT VERNON, N.Y.
Basketball
Ben, a senior guard at Mount Vernon High who has signed to play at Connecticut next year, had scored a school career-record 1,725 points, through Sunday. This year he was leading the Knights in rebounding average (4.8), assists (5.5), steals (3.7) and points (23.8).
