Angels third baseman Troy Glaus felt right at home, in the bottom of the eighth inning, hitting a home run—his fourth of the postseason—to beat the Minnesota Twins 2-1 in Game 3 of the American League Championship Series last Friday (page 50). The Angels clinched the pennant on Sunday.

Passing the Ducks
UCLA running back Tyler Ebell eluded several Oregon defenders while picking up 23 of his 119 rushing yards last Saturday, but the Ducks prevailed 31-30 in Pasadena (page 34).
