Boston Flee Party
The field of the 107th Boston Marathon—an estimated 20,000 strong—snaked down the street and around several bends as competitors crossed the starting line in Hopkinton, Mass., on Monday. Robert Kipkoech of Kenya finished first in 2:10:11.

Brief Bull Session
Chris Shivers stood to win $1 million if he could stay on 2002 Bull of the Year Little Yellow Jacket for eight seconds last Saturday in Colorado Springs. The bull, which weighed in at 1,650 pounds, got Shivers (the Professional Bull Riders' world champion in 2000) off his back in just 1.8 seconds (below).
