Roger Kish, LAPEER, MICH.
Wrestling
Roger, a senior at Lapeer West High, set national records for career victories (252) and consecutive victories (223) and won his fourth state championship. He also won the 189-pound title at the National High School Seniors Championship.

Rosanna Delurgio, SANTA CRUZ, CALIF.
Swimming
Delurgio, a sophomore at UC San Diego, won the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke at the NCAA Division II championships, in 1:02.37 and 2:15.84, respectively. She lowered her own division records at both distances.

Austin Johnson, AMARILLO, TEXAS
Basketball
Austin, a sophomore guard at Palo Duro High, averaged 23.5 points per game and was named All-District 3-4A player of the year. In one game he had a quadruple double: 24 points, 13 rebounds, 10 assists and 10 steals.

Katie Agey, DES MOINES
Wrestling
Katie, a first-grader at St. Anthony's, won the 44-pound elementary division at the U.S. girls' championships. Wrestling mostly against boys this year, she went 52-8, won state titles in Iowa and Missouri, and was named MVP in both tournaments.

Nick Metakes, PORT ORANGE, FLA.
Weightlifting
Nick, a senior at Spruce Creek High, became the first high school lifter in Florida to clear 400 pounds in the clean and jerk, winning the 238-pound division at the Class 2A championships. His 820 total (including 420 in the bench press) is an all-class state record.

Jeni Boesel, BREWSTER, WASH.
Basketball
Jeni, a senior guard at Brewster High, finished her high school career with 2,728 points, the third-highest total in state history. She was a three-time State 1A Tournament MVP, two-time Class 1A player of the year and was named to the 2003 state girls' first team.

Ryan Lobban, UPPER SADDLE RIVER, N.J.
Baseball
Ryan, a senior lefthander at St. Joseph Regional High, set a state record for a seven-inning game, striking out 21 in a no-hitter. (One batter reached first after the catcher dropped the third strike.) He is 9-0 for the season, with 125 strikeouts in 63 innings.
