DRAFT DODGERS: c. Guard Erick Strickland, now of the Bucks, went undrafted out of Nebraska in 1996. After starting the season in the CBA, Strickland finished 1996-97 averaging 10.6 points in 28 games as a rookie with the Mavericks.

CUTTING CLASS: Forward Mike Miller, then of the Magic and now of the Grizzlies, was the 2001 NBA Rookie of the Year after leaving the University of Florida following his sophomore year. Miller's current teammate, Spain's Pau Gasol, won the 2002 award with the Grizzlies.
