GREATEST MOMENT

In February 1988 Larry Brown's Kansas Jayhawks were only 12-8. But they made the NCAA tournament as a sixth seed with a 21-11 record and got hot, defeating three teams that had beaten them in the regular season. The last of those was Big Eight nemesis Oklahoma, which Kansas dispatched 83-79 in the NCAA final behind Danny Manning's 31 points, 18 rebounds and five steals.
