Wrestling brothers from Great Falls, Bill was the 1996 NCAA champ for Iowa at 142 pounds and Mike was a three-time All-America at the same school; each won four state high school titles.

The Great Falls quarterback led Washington State to the 1998 Rose Bowl. He was the second nick in the '98 NFL draft.

The Miles City gymnast, clad in a bear costume as UM's Monte, was named Capital One's mascot of the year in 2003.

Dave McNally, Baseball player
The lefthander from Billings won 184 big league games, including 33 shutouts for the Baltimore Orioles, for whom he beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 1-0 to clinch the 1966 World Series. He won 15 straight games, tying an American League record, to start the '69 season.
Pat Donovan, Football player
The All-America defensive end at Stanford switched positions in the NFL and became a four-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle for the Dallas Cowboys. At Helena High he was all-state in football and basketball and the state champion in the shot put and discus.
