Perfect Bond Randy Johnson's perfect game on May 18 against the Braves did more than make the 40-year-old lefty the oldest man to perform a pitcher's greatest feat. It also made Diamondbacks play-by-play guy Thorn Brennaman, 40, and Reds announcer Marty Brennaman, 63, the first father and son to each call a perfect game. Marty called Reds lefthander Tom Browning's perfecto against the Dodgers on Sept. 16, 1988. "When we spoke after [Johnson's game], Thorn said, There's no one else I can talk to who has experienced this," says Marty. "Guys outside our business don't understand the emotion we go through when someone's on the verge of something like that."...

Tony Kornheiser and Mark Cuban will go head-to-head on Mondays this fall. Listen Up, a sitcom based on columns about family life written for The Washington Post by Kornheiser, will air on CBS at 8:30 p.m. ( Jason Alexander stars.) The Benefactor, an hourlong reality show in which contestants try to win $1 million from Cuban, will air on ABC at 8 p.m., as a lead-in to Monday Night Football.
