Fuller, a junior at the University of Florida, swept the one-meter, three-meter and platform diving events at the Canadian championships in Calgary. At the Commonwealth Games, she won gold in the three-meter and platform events.

Pettengill, 23, had a 0.15 ERA and a 17-3 record to lead her Muddy's Too softball team to a first-place finish in the Troy WINS League. She pitched 12 shutouts and allowed only three earned runs during the season.

Bassham, 57, a right-handed pitcher for Robertson Homes, a softball team in the Major Division, defeated Brannon Tire 4-3 for the 800th victory of his 34-year career. He has pitched 36 no-hitters, including 16 perfect games.
