Heidi, 14, a freshman on the Notre Dame High boys' golf team, shot a 147 to win the girls' 12-to-14 division of the city junior championships. Her 36-hole total was three strokes better than the winner of the girls' 17-and-under division.

DONALD GUILLOT
PORT ISABEL, TEXAS
Guillot, 22, a senior centerfielder for Pan American University, stole 106 bases in 122 attempts in 59 games to establish an NCAA single-season record. The old mark of 104 was set in 1985 by Tim Barker of Central Florida.

CHARLES JOHNSON
TAMPA
Charles, a senior at King High, led the Lions to the state Class 4A track title in Winter Park, Fla., by winning the long jump (24'4"), the triple jump (47'8"), the 120-yard high hurdles (14.1) and the 330-yard intermediate hurdles (37.8).

BECKY HODDEVIK
PORTLAND, ORE.
Becky, a sophomore pitcher on the Reynolds High softball team, followed a 21-inning, 1-0 victory over Central Catholic with a 6-0, seven-inning perfect game over David Douglas High. This year she was 13-4 with a 0.82 ERA.

SONJA HENNING
RACINE, WIS.
Sonja, a senior at Horlick High, was a three-time Racine County girls' track athlete of the year—competing as a sprinter—and a Parade basketball All-America. Academically, she ranked eighth in her graduating class of 496.

BUDDY HERRERA
MIAMI
Herrera, a salesman of promotional items, used a four-wood to ace the par-3, 207-yard 6th hole at the Riviera Country Club in Coral Gables. He then used a three-iron to shoot a second hole in one on the par-3, 180-yard 9th, for a 35-39-74.
