Houston quarterback Andre Ware, who's being honored for the second straight
week, completed 33 of 53 passes for 514 yards and six touchdowns in a 66-10 win
over Baylor, which entered the game with the nation's top-ranked pass
defense.

Ball State linebacker Greg Garnica, a senior, had a school-record three
interceptions, each of which led to a touchdown, and 14 tackles—four of them
unassisted—in the Cardinals' 37-9 victory over Miami of Ohio.
SMALL SCHOOL
In a 42-24 win over Wisconsin-Stout, Kirk Baumgartner, a senior quarterback at
Wisconsin- Stevens Point, completed 28 of 45 passes for 390 yards and five TDs
and extended his Division III record to 139 passes without an interception.
