Nanci Kaiser, 18, of Center Point ( Texas) High, won all four events she entered at the state girls' meet in Austin: 80-yard hurdles (10.4), 440 (58.0), 60-yard dash (6.9) and long jump (19'1"). Her four firsts enabled her to singlehandedly win the team title.

Steve Cutter, a senior at Keene ( N.H.) High, threw no-hitters in the first two high school games he ever pitched. He beat Stevens High of Claremont 9-0 in the season's opener and topped Gardner (Mass.) High 1-0. He was formerly an outfielder.

Mrs. Dorothy E. Swett, 58, a librarian for the Navy Medical Neuropsychiatric Research Unit in Sun Diego, set a record of 1:51.8 for women over 45 in the 100-yard free, bettering the old mark by 19.8 seconds. She has swum competitively for 18 months.

Frank Puglisi, a brewery worker from Tampa, caught a 193-pound tarpon on a 40-pound test line in McKay Bay near downtown Tampa. It was the largest fish caught in the 36 years of the Suncoast Tarpon Roundup. The previous record was a 174-pounder.

Kaye Zimmerman of Casa Grande ( Ariz.) Union High has not lost a tennis match in four years, is captain of the girls' team and is a state doubles champion. The Casa Grande girls have won the state title the past three years and have an 84-match winning streak.

Clary Anderson, baseball coach at Montclair State ( N.J.) College, recorded his 500th victory against 171 defeats when the Indians defeated Cornell 7-5. In 28 years of high school and college coaching, Anderson has had only one losing season.
