Steve Sandusky, 12, son of former Baltimore Colt Lineman Alex Sandusky, won the under-12 trophy at the Chesapeake Bay fishing fair in Stevensville, Md. with his catch, a 30-pound, 10-ounce rockfish, the second largest of the entire competition.

Marcella Lammey, 63, of Indianapolis, competing in her first national swimming meet, won seven individual events and set four age-group records in the National Masters Long Course championships at Indiana University. She has been swimming for 24 years.

John Larochelle, of San Bruno, Calif.,-successfully defended his title for 12-year-olds at the U.S. Judo Association's Junior Nationals in Rochester, N.Y. Both of his parents represented Canada as runners at the 1948 Olympic Summer Games.

Tim Bailey, nine, a pitcher for a Knoxville Little League farm team, threw 10 no-hit games and won three more in relief for a 13-0 record. Only four balls were hit fair against him, none for base hits. He also quarterbacked his football team to a 9-1 mark.

Tisha Lopez, a graduate of Centennial High in Pueblo, Colo., ran her three-year game record to 30-1 (her only loss came in the district tournament when she suffered from stomach flu) and took the state girls' scholastic tennis title for the third consecutive year.

Tom Yob, 13, from Hillview Junior High in Menlo Park, Calif. and an All-Western Interscholastic midfielder, scored 106 goals in 30 games and led the Northern California Junior Lacrosse Division with 47 assists. He also captained the NCJL all-star team.
