JOHN CARNEY (1,696 NFL points) The second alltime
scoring leader (left) for the New Orleans Saints was an all-state placekicker
for Cardinal Newman High ( West Palm Beach, Fla.), in 1982.
MATT STOVER (1,653) The Baltimore Ravens' kicker had
his longest high school field goal (50 yards) when he set the Texas record for
the most FGs in a game (five), while at Lake Highlands High ( Dallas) in
'85.
JASON ELAM (1,608) Holder of five Denver Broncos
records for field goals, Elam was all-state at Brookwood High ( Snellville, Ga.)
in '88.
JASON HANSON (1,474) The 15-year veteran is the
Detroit Lions' alltime leading scorer. At Mead High ( Spokane), he was a
first-team all-state kicker in '88.
