Heavy Hitters
August 15, 2005
For the guys who need pleats in their golf pants, it was a week of mixed results. John Daly (left) failed to drive a ball 350 yards over Niagara Falls. Craig Stadler (right) and son Kevin (far right) entered the final rounds of their tour events--the Champions and the PGA, respectively--in second place but came up short. Meanwhile, Jason Gore (center), who nearly won the U.S. Open, shot a 59 and won his third Nationwide event of '05, which meant promotion to the PGA Tour.
