Hey, there's an American heavyweight champion! Shannon Briggs (inset, left) won the WBO title by stopping Sergei Liakhovich last Saturday, breaking the Eastern Bloc strangle-hold on the division. Now there are just three heavyweight champs from the former Soviet Union.... The WBC announced that in future title fights the judges' running scores will be posted, after the fourth and eighth rounds....
