Like Father, Like
Son
Ohio State freshman guard Mike Conley Jr., son of the 1992 Olympic triple jump
champion, attempted a monumental leap of his own in trying to score over
Florida's Dan Werner on Dec. 23 in Gainesville, Fla. Conley and the Buckeyes
came up short against the Gators 86--60, but the schools meet again—in
football—on Monday, for the BCS championship (page 50).
