YOUNGEST TO MAKE A PGA CUT
Bob Panasik, at the 1957 Canadian Open, at age 15, as a junior at Herman High in Windsor, Ont. Panasik played in nine U.S. Opens and was inducted into the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame in 2005.

YOUNGEST TO EARN A PGA TOUR CARD
Ty Tryon, in 2001 when he was 17 and a junior at Dr. Phillips ( Orlando). In 2005 he competed on the Hooters tour and, after failing to re-qualify for the PGA Tour at Q school in November, he now plays mostly in Asia.

YOUNGEST TO MAKE AN LPGA CUT
Michelle Wie, in 2003 at age 13, while an eighth-grader at Punahou School ( Honolulu). Her top finish is second at the '05 LPGA championship; she has failed to make the cut at seven men's tournaments, including the '07 Sony Open.

YOUNGEST TO WIN A 72-HOLE LPGA EVENT
Paula Creamer, in 2005 at 18, just four days before her graduation from Pendleton ( Bradenton, Fla.) High. She has won more than $1 million in each of the past two seasons.
