Haley, 14, won two titles at the USA Diving spring national championships. In the 10-meter platform she edged 2000 Olympic gold medalist Laura Wilkinson 369.00 to 365.20; in the 10-meter synchronized dive she teamed with Mary Beth Dunnichay to take first with 326.10 points.

Ashley, a senior at Colts Neck High, defended her title in the 3,000 meters at the Penn Relays, finishing in 9:37.92. She also won the two-mile run at the national scholastic indoor championships, setting a state record with the seventh-fastest time in U.S. history (10:16.75).

Ross, a senior attack for Canisius, has scored a point in 48 consecutive games, the nation's longest active streak. The 2006 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference offensive player of the year is averaging 4.0 points, tied for sixth in Division I, and has 125 career goals, third among active players.

CORONA, CALIF. > Softball
Tyson, a senior first baseman at the University of Washington, hit home runs in six straight games, in one stretch getting four in nine at bats; she was the USA Softball player of the week. She ranks third nationally in slugging percentage (.963), ninth in homers per game (0.39, with a total of 17) and 11th in average (.459).

Adam Linkenauger
FINCASTLE, VA. > Track and Field
Linkenauger, a senior at Clemson, overcame the sudden death of his position coach and good friend Jarrett Foster, and won his seventh Atlantic Coast Conference high jump title with a jump of 7'1 3/4" at the ACC's outdoor championship. Linkenauger is just the ninth ACC athlete to win an event for four straight years.
