On English Soil The first regular-season NFL game outside North America was no offensive showcase, as Dolphins quarterback Cleo Lemon (far left) proved in losing this fumble to Giants defensive end Michael Strahan (92). The turnover came during the second quarter of New York's 13--10 win on the slippery, rain-soaked turf of London's Wembley Stadium (page 67), where Miami's mascot (inset) joined a sellout crowd of 81,176.

Red Sox third baseman Mike Lowell scored on a no-look slide in the fifth inning on Sunday in Denver, helping Boston to a 4--3 victory and a World Series sweep of the Rockies (page 28). Lowell, who also homered in Game 4, batted .400 overall and was named Series MVP (inset).
