He broke his own state freshman mark by more than 1 1/2 feet and the national record by 13 1/2 inches, and he was named USA Track and Field athlete of the week.

The first-team All-America also set school marks for field goals (five) and extra points (seven) in a game, points in a season (128) and longest field goal (55 yards); he is one of 10 kickers invited to the NFL scouting combine.

Braegelmann, a senior right-side hitter for Minnesota-Duluth, averaged 4.32 kills for the 29--2 Bulldogs, who led Division II in kills and won their fourth straight North Central Conference title. She was named national player of the year for the second time and first-team All-America for the fourth time.
