Konrad, a senior heavyweight at Minnesota, was named Big Ten wrestler of the week for the third time this season after pinning top-ranked Steve Mocco of Oklahoma State at the National Duals, at which he was also named most outstanding wrestler. He has won 57 of his last 58 matches and this year is 28-0.

Hollingsworth, a redshirt freshman at Virginia Commonwealth, scored 21 points and had 13 rebounds in a 72-61 win over Towson, her eighth double double of the season. The 17-year-old is the youngest player in Division I and leads the Rams in scoring (14.7 points per game), rebounds (10.5) and free throws (4.1).

Campbell, a senior at Georgetown, was named U.S. Olympic Committee male sailing athlete of the year. He won the 2005-06 ICSA/Vanguard Singlehanded National American Championships, becoming the event's first three-time winner. He led the Hoyas to an Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association No. 1 ranking for the season.
