THURSDAY 2/2

FBR Open
Homecomings are sweet, especially when they involve a big check. Last year Phil Mickelson (above), a three-time NCAA champ at Arizona State, won his second FBR--and $936,000--in Scottsdale, Ariz. Thursday and Friday, USA 4 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, CBS 3 p.m.

SATURDAY 2/4

UFC 57: Chuck Liddell vs. Randy Couture
This is the rubber match between a hard puncher--the 17-3 Liddell (right) is said to have wrecking balls for fists--and a fighter, the 14-7 Couture, who is the only man ever to hold UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight belts. PPV 10 p.m.

SUNDAY 2/5

Colorado Crush at Georgia Force
As a quarterback, John Elway won back-to-back titles with the Broncos, in '97 and '98. Now he's hoping to accomplish the same feat as an owner. Behind 2005 AFL Offensive Player of the Year, specialist Damian Harrell (below)--who had 122 catches and 41 TDs--Elway's Crush is favored to defend its title, which it won by beating the Force 51-48 in Arena Bowl XIX. NBC 1 p.m.

MONDAY 2/6

Predators at Stars
When the Preds woke up on Jan. 25, they were somewhere they'd never been this late in any of their seven seasons in the NHL: first place. Two straight losses since have dropped Nashville three points behind the Red Wings in the Central and stopping that slide won't be easy. Pacific-leading Dallas has won three straight at home. OLN 8 p.m.

WEDNESDAY 2/8

No. 22 Indiana at Wisconsin
The Hoosiers have terrorized inside and out this season; they're second in the nation in field goal percentage and tops in three-point percentage. The Hoosiers' top deadeye is Marco Killingsworth, who is averaging 19.2 points per game while shooting 59.2% from the floor. ESPN 7 p.m.
