with 39 points against Chestnut Hill and a school-record 51 against New York
Institute of Technology; he was named Eastern College Athletic Conference
Division II player of the week. His 26.5 points per game lead the country.
Allison Fisher

Fisher, 39, won her eighth Women's Professional Billiards Association
championship. It was her 72nd tournament win since moving to the U.S. from
England in 1995. She has won more titles than all her competitors combined and
has been the world's top-ranked player in 11 of the last 12 years.

Ashley Rape

Ashley, a senior forward at the Greenhill School, ended her high school career
with 17 goals and 20 assists as she led the Hornets to the Southwest
Preparatory Conference semifinals. A member of the under-17 national team in
2007, she signed to play for Duke.

Mike Devine
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. > Hockey
Devine, a senior goaltender at Dartmouth, made a career-high 54 saves as the
Big Green upset then No. 5 UNH 5--3; he also had a win against BU and was named
national player of the week by Inside College Hockey. A unanimous first-team
All-Ivy selection as a junior, he is second in school history with 43 wins.
Brandon Gleason
MANTORVILLE, MINN. > Track and Field
Gleason, a junior at Division III Hamline, finished seventh in the 3,000 meters
at the all-divisions Iowa State Open 11 months after a car ran over his legs
and fractured his right tibia. (A steel rod was inserted to stabilize the leg.)
His time of 8:34.45 is the best in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic
Conference.
Laura Weinberg
BOCA RATON, FLA. > Soccer
Laura, a sophomore forward at St. Andrew's School, scored 24 goals and had six
assists as the Scots went 13-3-2 and reached the regional semifinals. Last
year, when St. Andrew's went 19-1-2 and won its first Class 3A title, she had
24 goals and 10 assists and was named state tournament MVP.
