Miles, a junior at Alabama, won the floor exercise and the vault (the latter with a score of 10.0) and took a fourth straight all-around title while leading the Crimson Tide to victory in a meet against Auburn. She was the Southeastern Conference gymnast of the week for the third time this season.

Jake Herbert

WEXFORD, PA. > Wrestling

Herbert, a redshirt freshman at Northwestern, won the Midlands Championship in the 174-pound weight class, becoming the first Wildcat to win a title there since 1972. He has 23 wins in 24 matches this season, and is first on the team with seven pins.

Tiandra Ponteen

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS > Track and Field

Ponteen, a sophomore at Florida who competed as a member of the St. Kitts national team at the 2004 Athens Olympics, won her third straight 400-meter race at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark. Her time of 51.68 is the second fastest in the country this season.
