Gordon, a sophomore at Campbell, won the gold medal in the long and triple jumps, the silver medal in the 200 meters and a bronze medal as a member of the 4�400 relay team at the Atlantic Sun Indoor Track & Field Championships. He was named the meet's Outstanding Male Field Athlete.

Megan Sutherland

ANAHEIM > Softball

Sutherland, a junior leftfielder at Humboldt State, had nine hits in 16 at bats, including two home runs, and scored seven runs as she led the Lumberjacks to the Humboldt State Tournament title. She was named the event's most valuable player and the Great Northwest Athletic Conference player of the week.

Peter Brown

MADISON, WIS. > Swimming

Brown, a senior at Grinnell College, won the 50-, 100- and 200-yard freestyle races at the Midwest Conference Swimming & Diving Championships and led the Pioneers to their fifth straight conference team title. He ended his college career with seven individual MWC titles and was named its 2006 men's swimmer of the year.
