Under Fire
Submarining starter Sunshuke Watanabe of Japan hurled 4 2/3 innings against
Korea on Sunday in the World Baseball Classic at the Tokyo Dome. Watanabe left

Evelyn Winkler (front) and Milena Sai of Brazil won the silver medal in the
women's synchronized 10-meter platform diving final at the South American
Aquatic Championships on Sunday in Medell�n, Colombia. A Colombian team
(inset), Diana Pineda (front) and Juliana Ochoa, took the gold.
