What was your welcome-to-the-NBA moment?
Against New Jersey in the preseason we were down three, and I had to make three free throws to send the game into overtime. At the foul line I was thinking, Wow, I'm in the NBA. It's crazy. I knocked down all three free throws.

Your most embarrassing moment?
In practice. Chris Bosh dunked on me. Keep that on the low, though.

Favorite off-day activity?
Surfing the Internet. My brother [Rob Elias] is a big computer guy, and I learn from him. He made my website, cv31.com.

If I were commissioner for a day, I'd ...
change the dress code. For the home games you should be able to come in whatever you want.

If I weren't in the NBA, I'd ...
be coaching on the high school or college level. Basketball's in my blood.

LAST WEEK
Two days after scoring 25 points against Atlanta, Villanueva, 21, spent time with kids afflicted with alopecia areata, the skin disease from which he suffers, in New York City.

THIS WEEK
On Sunday, Toronto hosts Indiana, against whom Villanueva had 25 points in a Raptors win on Dec. 30.
