Jon, a junior forward at Upper Sandusky High, scored his 2,000th career point as the defending Division II state champion Rams beat Galion 79-50. Earlier this season he scored 77 points and set an Ohio record for most free throws made by sinking 27 of 28 in a 105-100 overtime win over Tiffin Columbian.

Meghan Dyer

TRACY, CALIF. > Softball

Dyer, a junior righthander at Utah, won three games at the UTEP Invitational, pitching two shutouts, including a perfect game in an 8-0 victory over UTEP. She held opposing batters to an .056 average in the tournament and was Mountain West Conference pitcher of the week.

Erin Ewalt

REISTERSTOWN, MD. > Swimming

Ewalt, a senior at Randolph-Macon, became the first woman in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference to be named athlete of the year in a particular sport four times. She was undefeated in individual conference races during her college career and won all 12 individual and all 13 relay ODAC championships for which she was eligible.
