LADAINIAN TOMLINSON isn't afraid of jinxes, but San Diego fans are, which is why many were relieved when EA Sports said that Titans QB Vince Young will be featured on the Madden 08 package. Former Madden cover boys Michael Vick, Donovan McNabb and Shaun Alexander were injured after being honored by EA Sports, and one Chargers backer started an online petition (saveltfrommadden.com) to persuade the company to curse someone else this year. EA Sports said Young was its choice all along, but CNBC.com reported that Tomlinson (left) turned the company down. It wasn't the Madden jinx: LT wasn't happy with EA's offer.
