COREY FISHER (St. Patrick's, Elizabeth, N.J.) threaded a pass to a cutting Derrick Rose (Simeon High, Chicago) for an easy two in the early moments of the Jordan Brand All-American Classic last Saturday, drawing "oohs" from the Madison Square Garden crowd. Nifty passes like that—he had 10 assists and 12 points in 28 minutes—earned Fisher MVP honors for the Yellow team, which defeated the Royal team 127--119. The Royal's MVP was forward Donte' Greene (Towson [Md.] Catholic), who had 20 points in 17 minutes.

Fisher (left) and Greene both shone in an arena that will figure in their immediate futures. Fisher is going to Villanova next year and Greene to Syracuse, which means they could see each other at the Garden for the Big East tournament next March.
