Bronwen Knox BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA > Water Polo Knox, a sophomore defender at Hartwick, scored four goals and had an assist as she lead the Hawks to an 11-8 victory over Michigan and their second Collegiate Water Polo Association's Eastern Championship. She was named the tournament MVP and leads the team with 117 goals and 143 points for the season.

Knox, a sophomore defender at Hartwick, scored four goals and had an assist as she lead the Hawks to an 11-8 victory over Michigan and their second Collegiate Water Polo Association's Eastern Championship. Mike Salmon
LOWVILLE, N.Y. > Diving
Salmon, a senior at Hamilton College, won the one- and three-meter springboard competitions at the NCAA Division III swimming and diving championships in Minneapolis. He finished first in every event he entered this season and was named the Division III diver of the year.

Kevin Kring
SPRINGFIELD, MO. > Golf
Kevin, a sophomore at Central High, broke the state high school record for par-71 courses by five strokes when he shot a 63 to win the All City Invitational at the Twin Oaks Country Club. His score, two over the record 61 shot by Arnold Palmer in 1962, tied the amateur course record. In April he was the individual medalist at the Joplin Invitational.

Sacha Solomon
BOURNE, MASS. > Tennis
Solomon, a junior at Bryant University, helped the Bulldogs win their third consecutive Northeast-10 Conference women's tennis championship. The team's No. 1 singles player has a 12-0 record in conference competition and was named the NE-10 Vern Cox player of the year for the third straight season.

Micah Rhodes
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS > Softball
Rhodes, a junior rightfielder at Centenary College of Louisiana, leads the Ladies in eight categories, including batting average (.432) and RBIs (42), and holds five school records. She has been Mid-Continent Conference player of the week three times this season and Louisiana Sports Writers' Association player of the week once.

Lacy Janson, Garrett Johnson
SARASOTA, FLA.; TAMPA > Track and Field
Janson, a senior at Florida State, set an NCAA pole vault record (15' 1/4") at the ACC championships. Johnson, a junior at FSU, broke a 22-year-old meet record, putting the shot 68' 4 1/2" at the Penn Relays. He is a Rhodes scholar who will study at Oxford in the fall.
