Mollica, a
freshman third baseman at Massachusetts (and Don Zimmer's granddaughter), is
the first player in the Atlantic 10 Conference to be player and rookie of the
year in the same season. Batting .394, she has set conference and Minutewomen
records with 61 RBIs and leads the league in total bases (126).

Boxing
Murrell, a
sophomore with the boxing club at Nevada-- Las Vegas, won a gold medal in the
156-pound weight class at the National Collegiate Boxing Championships in Reno.
It was his second consecutive title, and his victory helped UNLV take the
national championship.

Stewart, a junior
at Auburn, won the 100 meters at the Southeastern Conference Outdoor Track and
Field Championships in 11.03 seconds, the second-fastest time in the world by a
woman in 2006. She also placed second in the 200 meters, was a member of the
winning 4�400-meter relay and ran the anchor on the 4�100-meter relay.
