Lukas Pesek of the Czech Republic was missing one vital piece of equipment during a 125-cc motorcycle race in Le Mans on May 21: his 125-cc motorcycle. He had it when the French Grand Prix began but lost it during a nasty spill on the first lap. He walked away uninjured. Defending series champion Thomas Luthi of Switzerland was the race's winner.
