She set five Trojans records, including stroke average (72.06), and tied school records for season and career tournament wins (four and five, respectively).

Ryan Murphy
PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FLA. > Swimming
Ryan, a fifth-grader at Palmer Catholic Academy who was competing for North Florida Swimming, set a boys' 10-and-under national record in the 100-meter backstroke (1:11.01). Last month he lowered his state age-group record in the 100-meter freestyle, to 1:02.45. He holds six state 10-and-under short-course records.

Jennifer Dahlgren
BUENOS AIRES > Track and Field
Dahlgren, a junior at Georgia, broke her NCAA, South American and Southeastern Conference records in the hammer throw with a toss of 236'3" at the NCAA East Regional at North Carolina A&T State. After winning SEC and NCAA indoor titles in the weight throw, she was voted the SEC indoor and outdoor women's field athlete of the year.

Anthony Velasquez
QUEENS, N.Y. > Baseball
Anthony, a junior righthander at Bayside High, pitched back-to-back perfect games followed by a shutout for the Commodores. He led the Public School Athletic League Boys' A division with seven wins and his team with a 1.33 ERA. He also led his team with a .408 batting average and 15 stolen bases.

Trentin Edwards
MILWAUKEE > Track and Field
Edwards, a junior at Wisconsin- Milwaukee, won the 100- and 200-meter dashes at the Horizon League Outdoor Championship for the second consecutive year and led the Panthers to their third league title. He was named the outstanding track performer of the meet.

Lanie Hollier
FORKED ISLAND, LA. > Softball
Lanie, a freshman righthander at Kaplan High, led the Lady Pirates to a 3--1 win over Teurlings and their first Louisiana Class 3A softball championship. She was 28-3-1 for the season with 281 strikeouts in 180 2/3 innings and an 0.50 ERA, and was named to the Class 3A first team all-state team.
