What was your welcome-to-the-big-leagues moment?
My first road trip [in Detroit last August] when the guys invited me to eat dinner with them at Morton's steakhouse. I snaked my way out of the bill. I had to go to the bathroom when the bill came.

A 25-year-old rookie, Papelbon, who has an 0.59 ERA, saved his 26th game against the White Sox last Saturday. He was headed to Pittsburgh for the All-Star Game.
