Danny, 8, a fourth-grader at Wakefield Elementary, won the 8to-10-year-old division of the TPC at Wakefield Plantation Junior Club Championship. This was his fourth straight title. His three previous wins were in the 7-and-under division.

Liza, a sophomore at Red River High, didn?t lose a set in the individual tournament as she won the singles title at the North Dakota State Girls Tennis Tournament for the third straight year. She was 26?0 for the season and led the Roughriders to a 14?0 record.

Track and Field

Devin, a senior at North Beach High, won the 100, 200 and 400 meters and placed fourth in the triple jump at the state 1A track and field championships. In May he won four events at the Southwest Washington Classic and was named the meet?s top performer.
