SCOUT SIZES UP THE BRONCOS
> You can't
overestimate the importance of knowing the system as a quarterback for Mike
Shanahan, which is why I really think Jay Cutler will struggle in his first
full year as the starter. I don't know if he's accurate enough anyway. That was
the only rap on him at Vanderbilt. . . . I know Travis Henry enters the season
a little nicked, but he's the right back for this offense--he's not blindingly
fast, but he has great instincts and he never runs side to side, just north and
south. . . . Daniel Graham was a great get at tight end, but they better not
forget Tony Scheffler, who's got excellent hands and gets open like Todd Heap.
. . . Good move picking up Dre' Bly because he'll get all the interceptions
when teams realize it's fruitless to throw to Champ Bailey's side. Can't figure
out why teams didn't know that last year.
