Mitchell RURAL HALL, N.C. > Baseball Mitchell, a junior righthanded pitcher at Clemson, led the Cape Cod League in strikeouts (58) and was fourth in ERA (1.47) while pitching 49 innings for the Western Division regular-season champion Bourne Braves. For the Tigers he was 5--0 with a 3.27 ERA and 49 strikeouts over 52 1/3 innings.
