Alwayne, a sophomore guard at Eastern Commerce Collegiate Institute and a member of Team Ontario, averaged 16 points, four steals and three assists in the five-game tournament as he led his team to the Canadian Midget Basketball Championship. He was selected tournament MVP.

Jordan Angeli

Angeli, a sophomore midfielder at Santa Clara, scored both goals in a 2-1 win over top-ranked Notre Dame and had a game-winning assist in a 1-0 victory over Fullerton. She was named Soccer America national player of the week and West Coast Conference player of the week.

JD Schultz

JD, a junior receiver-cornerback-kicker at Interlake High, scored two touchdowns (a 98-yard interception return and a 23-yard reception) and kicked a 25-yard field goal and four extra points in the Saints' 37-26 win over Squalicum. He also had a second interception and caused a fumble.
