SATURDAY 10/1
SI PICK OF THE WEEK
Ring Trilogy
Antonio Tarver (above, right) and Roy Jones Jr. (left) first boxed each other 23 years ago as 15-year-olds in Florida. They've since each won an Olympic medal and a title belt--and each has beaten the other once as a pro. In the rubber match, in Tampa, Jones's father, Big Roy, will be in his corner for the first time in 11 years. Said Tarver, "I think it's good because his father is the only one with the compassion to throw in the towel when he sees his son in over his head." HBO PPV 9 p.m.
SATURDAY 10/1
Jeep World of Adventure Sports
One segment profiles Victoria Jealouse, a gutsy snowboarder and skier from Kamloops, B.C., who makes her living big-mountain riding. "Breaking bones is the least of your worries in the backcountry," Jealouse said recently. "It's avalanches that scare me." Also on the agenda: the Raid World Championship, a five-day adventure race through the French, Italian and Swiss Alps. NBC 2:30 p.m.
