He leads the Colonial Athletic Association with an 0.69 goals-against average, is second in save percentage (.844) and has twice been named conference rookie of the week.

Bell, a redshirt freshman at Wayne State, rushed for 318 yards, set two Warrior records by gaining 386 all-purpose yards and tied another school record with four rushing touchdowns in a 35-31 win over Mercyhurst. He is second in NCAA Division II in average all-purpose yards (235.0) and rushing yards (198.0).

Mallory, a senior righthander at Lee's Summit High, pitched two perfect games in five days, giving the Tigers a 7-0 win against Richmond and striking out 17 of 21 batters in a 6-0 victory over Lee's Summit West. She is 25-3 with 340 strikeouts, 11 shutouts and an 0.39 ERA--plus a .540 batting average--for the season.
