DeWolfe, a senior forward at Texas A&M--Commerce, was named Lone Star Conference offensive player of the year for the second time. This season she led the Lions with 11 goals and the conference with 37 points. She also topped the LSC in shots (82), assists (15) and game-winning goals (six).

SALEM, N.H. > Volleyball

Andrew, a senior outside hitter at Salem High, was named state player of the year after leading the Blue Devils to their second consecutive Class L boys volleyball championship. He was co-player of the year last season. The team is undefeated in the past two seasons, with a 37-match winning streak.

Ashley and Tim McKenney


Ashley and Tim, a sophomore and a senior, respectively, at Desert Mountain High, became the state's first brother and sister to win individual championships in the same year and the same sport when they were the Arizona 5A-II medalists.
