Kristan, a senior righthander at Greenbrier High, pitched 47 scoreless innings and had 17 consecutive wins to lead the Wolfpack to its first state fast-pitch championship. She ended her high school career with 104 victories, 1,041 strikeouts and an 0.60 ERA.

Kenny, a senior at Douglas High, won the Foot Locker National cross-country boys' championships in San Diego. He ended the year undefeated, won the Arizona Class 4A title and was named the Tucson Citizen boys' runner of the year.

Tim, a junior lefthanded quarterback at Nease High, set state records for total yardage in a season (5,576) and single-season passing yardage (4,304). He scored 70 touchdowns for the 11-2 Panthers and was named Class 3A player of the year.

Megan, a senior at Bettendorf High, became the first girl in Iowa history to win the 500-yard freestyle at the state championship meet four straight years and the 10th to win any state swimming title that many years in a row.

Jallow, a senior forward at Wisconsin- Milwaukee, led the Horizon League this season in goals scored (18) and points (41). He is the Panthers' and the league's alltime goals-scored leader (60) and earned his second conference player of the year honor.
