JEVON KEARSE

HIGHLIGHTS: All-America (1998)
NICKNAMED the Freak for his superhuman combination of speed and size, Kearse began his career at Florida as a 6' 4", 265-pound safety and ended up as a finalist for the Butkus Award in '98, when he had 54 tackles (34 solo) and 7� sacks. The following year, as an NFL rookie with the Titans, Kearse set the league single-season rookie record for sacks, with 14�.
