A DEFENSE WITH TEETH
After leading a pep talk before Super Bowl XLII, defensive end Michael Strahan chomped down on the New England offense. The 15-year vet had a sack and helped the Giants limit the Patriots to 274 yards and a season-low 14 points.

DESERT SWARM
With the help of linebacker Kawika Mitchell (55), who had one sack, and defensive end Justin Tuck (91), who had two, New York's relentless defense got its hits on Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who was sacked five times and hit nine more.

TOUCHING MOMENT
Receiver Amani Toomer, one of two Giants (along with Michael Strahan) remaining from the losing Super Bowl XXXV team, shares the joy after his six catches helped New York shock New England 17-14 for the franchise's third Super Bowl title.
