PATTY JO HEDGES
PLAYING John Stockton to Still's Karl Malone, Hedges amassed a record 731 career assists, including a single-game high of 16 against Cincinnati in 1982. Although she didn't play in the three-point era, she ranks 16th alltime in scoring. Hedges also ranks third in career steals with 272.
THE 6-FOOT POTTS ranks fourth alltime in career scoring, mainly because of her ability to knock down three-pointers. She holds the UK career records for treys attempted (719) and made (271), and she ranks second in percentage (.377). Potts hit a school-record seven threes against High Point on Jan. 6, 2004.
KENTUCKY'S second coach, Yow led the Wildcats to a 24-5 record and their first postseason tournament appearance, in 1979-80. Just as important, she recruited Still, Hedges and Lea Wise, the players who enabled Yow's successor, Terry Hall, to lead UK to an SEC title and NCAA tournament berths in '82 and '83.
