11 Martin TRUEX JR.

2007 FINISH:
11th place; 1 win; 14 top 10s
AFTER a breakout season, the Junior who did make the '07 Chase becomes the face of Dale Earnhardt Inc. Truex is still a touch inconsistent, but there's no question he has the ability to be a Cup contender. Having wise old Mark Martin as a teammate-mentor will help too.

12 Greg BIFFLE

2007 FINISH:
14th place; 1 win; 11 top 10s
ANOTHER Roush Fenway driver who struggled with the CoT this season, Biffle will be looking to keep the momentum that saw him score eight of his 11 top 10s during the second half of '07. The quietly quick Biffle was the only non-Chaser to win a Chase race.

13 Kevin HARVICK

2007 FINISH
10th place; 1 win; 15 top 10s
WHO knew that his '07 Daytona 500 victory would be the high point of Harvick's entire season? Once thought to be the strongest driver in the RCR stable, he needs to be more consistent.

14 Casey MEARS

2007 FINISH:
15th place; 1 win; 10 top 10s
THE only Hendrick driver to miss the Chase, Mears did win his first race in '07. In '08, for the first time in his five-year Cup career, he'll have a top crew chief in Alan Gustafson, formerly with Kyle Busch.

15 Juan Pablo MONTOYA

2007 FINISH:
20th place; 1 win; 6 top 10s
BELIEVE the hype. Montoya had a win, three top fives and was Rookie of the Year. His team, Chip Ganassi Racing, still trails the elites, but Montoya is a special driver around whom Ganassi can build.
