JOE STAFFORD
AMARILLO, TEXAS

In four years at Pacific High, Scott had a 111-7-1 record (with 73 pins) and won three consecutive state wrestling titles in the 175-pound class. Joe, competing in the 158-, 170-, and 179-pound classes, had a 115-13 record during his sophomore to senior years for Tascosa High and 32 straight victories, all pins, in this, his senior year. He was named the most valuable high school wrestler in Texas for 1984-85, having defeated all of his opponents from Texas, in addition to those from Oklahoma.

Laura, a junior forward at Ursuline Academy, led the Bears to their third state soccer title in four years (58-4-2) by scoring 50 goals and assisting on 17 others. The Bears, who finished with a 17-1 record, outscored their opponents 137-8.

SANDY RICKETT
LITHONIA, GA.
Sandy, a catcher/shortstop for Lithonia High, set a national high school single-game record by driving in 15 runs in a 26-4 win over Decatur. He hit a three-run double and four homers, including two three-run shots and a grand slam.

FRANCIE FAURE
WORLAND, WYO.
Francie, a senior at Worland High, holds state track records in the 400 (56.30), 800 (2:14.4) and 1,600 meters (5:03.95), and the Triple A record in the 3,200 (11:23.53). She has also won the state high school cross-country title three times.
